Rick New

Rick is a website and web-application developer with more than eight years of experience building commercial web sites. He has developed a broad spectrum of sites, including for import-export manufacturing, hedge-fund management, legal-consulting and digital film. His applications include shopping carts, recurring billing systems, invoicing-systems, customer management, bulletin boards and content-management systems. Rick's web-development languages include C#, SQL, Javascript, XHTML and CSS.

Rick's work doesn't stop with the technical side of web development. He understands how content, design and implementation can help reflect the business owner's connection to his or her product or service. Rick is also skilled in providing care for the website after it is up and running. From routine maintenance to customer support, he has a good sense for what makes your website tick.

Along with Molly Martin and Torben Ulrich, Rick also co-directed the 60-minute digital film, "Before The Wall: Body & Being". In a previous life, Rick was the head tennis instructor of a tennis club in Little Rock, Arkansas, played on the southern circuit and was the former No. 2 player in the Men's 35 Division in the Pacific Northwest — not bad for someone who took up the sport at 18.
